 Aren't these over-sized daisies just the most fun?  We thought they would brighten our front porch and add a welcome touch of spring color. They are for sale in the shop also.
  I think everyone is truly ready for warmer weather & sunshine and eager to spend some time outside.
  Our hearts and prayers go out to the many people affected by the bombings in Boston.  How any human being can be so deranged to want to cause injury to innocent people is beyond comprehension.
   We made a quick trip to Colorado over the weekend and got a chance to see our little Shae play volleyball.  What fun to be in the bleachers and cheer her and her team on.

Do you know someone who is a Secretary or Administrative Professional?

 This person is usually the one behind the scenes helping the "boss".  They do many tasks no one ever knows about unless it doesn't get done.  They help to make the life of the "boss" a little easier by attending to schedules, answering questions, comforting an unhappy customer, composing letters, relaying directives from upper management and picking up loose ends that could cause problems for everyone. April 25 is Administrative Professional's  / Secretary's Day......let's give them a big "Thank You" for all they do to help management and keep our businesses running smoothly.

* The easiest way to find something lost around the house is to buy a replacement.

*  The sole purpose of a child's middle name is so he can tell when he's really in trouble.   

*  Did you ever notice: When you put the 2 words "The" and IRS" together it spells "Theirs"  !!!!

*  The older we get, the fewer things seem worth waiting in line for.

*  When you are dissatisfied and would like to go back to youth, think of Algebra.

*  If you can smile when things go wrong, you have someone in mind to blame. 

                   Calico Beans         

2  cans pork & beans
1 can kidney beans, not drained
1 can lima or butter beans, drained
2 lb. hamburger, browned & drained
1 lb. bacon, fried
1 onion, chopped
1/2 c. ketchup
1 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp vinegar

Combine all and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.  Can be cooked in crock pot on low for 4-6 hours
