Dear Friends,
Women's Night Out
is going to be held Thursday, October 20 at the Atlantic Golf &
Country Club from 5 to 9:00 p.m.. We will be having a booth
there with fun things for fall and Christmas. The Christmas
items featured there are just a sample of the many decorations
and gifts we will be showing at our Open House to be held
on November 11 & 12. Then, we have the honor of decorating the
entryway at the Parish Center for the Festival of Trees
to be held December 1,2,3,4. We hope you will be able to attend
these fun events.
It doesn't seem possible the holidays are approaching so
fast, but I'm certain many people feel this way too. Isn't it
wonderful we as Americans can celebrate religious holidays with
joy and not fear any backlash from government or terrorist
groups? Thanksgiving is such a good time to remember all the
blessings we take for granted daily.

Quick & Different Cheese Soup
Boil:
1 package 5 1/4 oz. Au Gratin Potatoes
1 can whole kernel corn (drained)
10 oz can diced tomatoes & green chilies (undrained)
2 cups water
When potatoes are tender, add the following & simmer:
2 cups milk
2 cups Velveeta or American Cheese
dash of hot pepper (optional)
parsley (optional)
