Stability is complicated. The Arahi isn’t.
HOKA ONE ONE built the updated men's Arahi 3 stability running shoe for max cushion and minimum weight, achieving both in typical HOKA fashion—with a midsole.
Instead of using traditional stability features like a post or other rigid, unforgiving materials, HOKA developed the J-Frame midsole. The new midsole configuration uses a fimer density foam to support the inside of your foot and your heel, which guides you into proper alignment while delivering the comfortable ride you expect from HOKA.
The third version of the Arahi is outfitted with an all-new lightweight upper engineered from breathable mesh. The new upper increased the shoe’s midfoot lockdown and made it more comfortable overall.
The HOKA Arahi 3 is a worthy successor to the Arahi 2, delivering the support you need in a performance-minded package.

HOKA Arahi 3 technology
- Early stage Meta-Rocker. HOKA calls the Meta-Rocker “wheels for your feet.” The combination of a low heel-to-toe drop, unique midsole shape and stack of cushioning complement a runner’s gait and work together to drive you forward
- Premium cushioning. A thick, cushy midsole is a signature of HOKA running shoes. The maxed-out cushion delivers a softer ride and more comfortable run
- J-Frame support. Designers used a firmer density foam in the midsole of the shoe to provide extra support to runners who need it. Formed into the shape of the letter “J”, the foam supports the inside of your foot and your heel.
