Head for the hills in the new women's Nike Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5.
Nike overhauled the Terra Kiger this year to make it even better on dirt: The fifth edition of the Nike trail running shoe uses a segmented rock plate in the forefoot to shield your foot from rocks and roots without compromising flexibility while multidirectional outsole lugs give you sure-footed traction no matter how your foot lands.
In the Nike Terra Kiger 4, designers used a Zoom Air bag in the heel and the forefoot. This year’s model only has a unit in the heel, but Zoom Air paired with cushy React foam make the Terra Kiger 5 ride smooth and feel bouncy.
Nike swaddled the Terra Kiger 5 in a Flymesh upper that’s lightweight and soft. The perforated mesh breathes easily on hot days, and it drains water quickly after you splash through a stream.
In our review of the Nike Terra Kiger 5, Fleet Feet testers praised the spacious toe box that made running comfortable, and they loved the thoughtful details that made the shoe feel high-quality.
The refreshed Nike Air Zoom Terra Kiger 5 is ready for anything.
